Substance Abuse Treatment & Family Therapy

CEU’s – 12 Hours

Goal:  Gaining knowledge and ability to treat substance abuse with focus on family therapy.

Objective: 

• This 12 hour course addresses how substance abuse affects the entire family.
• Also, how treatment providers can use family therapy to change the interactions among family members.
• The student will benefit from the discussions on clinical decision making, supervision, cultural considerations, special populations, funding and research.
